WINDOWS MANAGER 1.1
Every window on every screen, one swipe away.
An app by The Circumstances.

Swipe up with three fingers and every open window, on every display, lands on one
black board: grouped by type, live previews, wired together like nodes. Whatever is
making sound glows red. Click a window to jump to it, drag it to another screen,
close the ones you don't need, swipe down to go back.

NEW IN 1.1
- Drag a window to another screen, like Mission Control. A small map of your screens
appears at the top while you drag, so you can drop on any of them. The window folds
into a line of light, crosses over and opens again in its new place.
- Two fingers: left and right change the size of the board, up and down scroll it.
Circle them and it blends smoothly between the two.
- The swipe follows your fingers more closely, and everything runs lighter and smoother.

WHAT YOU NEED
- macOS 14 Sonoma or later (sound detection needs 14.2 or later)
- Any Mac: Apple silicon or Intel
- A trackpad for the swipe (there is also a keyboard shortcut)

INSTALL
1. Open Windows Manager.dmg
2. Drag Windows Manager into Applications (replace the old one if you have it)
3. Open it from Applications. It lives in the menu bar, not in the Dock.

FIRST OPEN
The app isn't notarized by Apple, so the first time macOS may say it can't check it.
To open it anyway: System Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll down, click
"Open Anyway" next to Windows Manager and confirm. You only do this once.

SETUP
The settings window walks you through these and turns each step green when it's done:
1. Accessibility - so it can bring windows forward, move them, close them and quit apps.
2. Screen Recording - for the live previews and the real window titles.
3. Trackpad - in System Settings > Trackpad > More Gestures, set Mission Control
(and App Expose) to four fingers, so three fingers are free for Windows Manager.
4. Optional, "Real sound only" - System Audio Recording, so apps that keep their
audio open while silent (DaVinci Resolve, for example) aren't marked as playing.

HOW TO USE IT
- Three-finger swipe up: open. Swipe down, Esc or click the background: back.
It follows your fingers; let go and it finishes the move.
- Control + Option + Up arrow also opens it (you can change this in Settings).
- Click a window to bring it to the front. Keys 1 to 9 open windows 01 to 09.
- Arrow keys or Tab move between windows, Return opens the selected one.
- Drag a window onto another screen, or onto a screen in the map at the top, to move
it there. It keeps its size and place; a full-screen-size window stays that way.
Let go anywhere else and it goes back. M sends the selected window to the next screen.
- Close a window with its [x], Delete or Cmd+W.
Option + [x], Option + Delete or Cmd+Q quits that app. Right-click for more.
- Closed and moved windows leave an empty slot until the next time you open the
board, so nothing shifts while you work through several in a row.
- Red means it's making sound. Click the sound line at the top, the SOUND button,
or press S to go there.
- SIZE: two fingers left and right anywhere (right = bigger), the slider on the
right edge, or + / - / 0. FIT shows everything at once. When the board is bigger
than the screen, two fingers up and down scroll it. Circling two fingers moves
smoothly between the two, and the board stays put under the pointer as it resizes.
  It remembers your size.

UNINSTALL
Quit it from its menu bar icon, then drag Windows Manager from Applications to the Trash.

PRIVACY
Everything stays on your Mac. Window pictures are kept in memory only for a moment,
to open faster. Nothing is recorded, saved or sent anywhere.
